ABOUT US
LA DJ Exchange was founded by
professionals for professionals. The company president, Mike Brandt, has over 25
years experience in the music industry as a disc jockey, musician, and retailer.
He has trained hundreds of aspiring entertainers, and has personally performed
across the country from New York, Philadelphia and Atlantic City, to Las Vegas
and Los Angeles.
Mike was featured in the PRO Files section of the first anniversary issue of
Mobile Beat Magazine (“Place In The Sun Brings DJ To The Stars”, April/May
1992), when he was the disc jockey at the wedding reception of Ted Turner and
Jane Fonda in Beverly Hills, CA.
In 1991, Mike was the disc jockey at the Chicago Bulls NBA Championship Party at
the Ritz Carlton in Marina Del Rey, CA. This was Michael Jordan’s first NBA
Championship.
Some of Mike’s clients include: Robert De Niro, Peter Falk, Sidney Poitier,
Julia Roberts, Dionne Warwick, and Denzel Washington.

Industry. The company has equipped thousands of disc jockeys over the years,
